Accommodations for Students with Disabilities

Students with disabilities who desire accommodations in their Law School responsibilities, including course loads, assignments and examinations, must formally request such accommodations through the University’s Student Disability Services Office. That Office’s recommendations are then made to the Dean of Students. Requests for accommodations are subject to professional evaluation and review by the Faculty’s Committee on Academic Standing. Evaluations will be made by a professional selected by the University, with the cost borne by the student. In order to provide accommodations in a timely manner, students are encouraged to make accommodation requests as early as possible in the semester. Requests that are not received in a timely manner may cause delay in the provision of the accommodation. For more information, see

The Law School retains discretion as to how to implement any approved accommodation. Extended time will only be given on exams less than 24 hours.
