In this class, we will identify personal blocks to assertiveness, identify both assertive and non-assertive language and behaviors, and learn ways to use assertiveness in everyday situations.

    The demands of life sometimes require that we request a leave of absence from work. Whether it’s time off to take care of a medical procedure, bond with a new addition to the family, or fulfill military obligations, following the proper leave application process is important. Penn is making an administrative change to that process.

    With support from the Provost’s office, Penn Center for Public Health Initiatives (CPHI) and Penn Libraries is launching an exciting new program: Weekly Themed Wellness Walks. Walks will be led by staff, faculty, and students across campus, who will start each walk by briefly talking about a topic of their choice.
