ML/LLM Overview of the US Judicial System with Judge Luis Felipe Restrepo (Invitation Only)
Judge Restrepo will deliver a brief overview of the judicial system in the United States, including the parallel state and federal systems, both civil and criminal. The session will also cover some of the basics of the US Constitution, the structure of both state and federal courts, the procedures by which judges are appointed or elected, and the concept of jurisdiction.
This is a hybrid event. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees who register prior to 9/6. LLM students are welcome to attend. Please Register Here
