As part of the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School’s historic commitment to public service, the Leo Model Foundation Government Service & Public Affairs Initiative prepares students and alumni to be leaders in the government and policymaking arenas. Through the initiative, which launched thanks to the generous gift of the Leo Model Foundation, students and faculty engage with some of the most pressing government and public policies issues of the day.
Through a visiting fellows program, trips to Washington, D.C., classroom/experiential opportunities, summer fellowships, postgraduate fellowships, and externships, the program makes certain that Penn Carey Law’s graduates are uniquely positioned for government service and prepared to succeed when confronted with the most pressing issues of the day.
