Information about Riverside Correctional Facility

The Riverside Correctional Facility on the outskirts of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was opened in June 2004. The facility was designed and operates for an all-female population. The two building facility was built by the Vitetta Group and includes 143,000 square-feet of housing.

PEAP members travel to Riverside each Saturday morning during the school year to teach.

 

Information about Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility (CFCF)

Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility (CFCF) is the largest facility in the Philadelphia Prison System (PPS). Consisting of four housing buildings and an attached core-operations building, the facility has a 24-hour intake center and sees 30,000 adult males processed each year. 

PEAP members travel to CFCF each Thursday evening during the school year to teach.

 

Information about Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center (PICC)

Just down the street from CFCF, Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center (PICC) opened in 1986. PICC is the only location where PEAP students teach solely to certified juveniles. 

PEAP members travel to PICC each Thursday evening during the school year to teach.
