
Stefanie Ramirez L’19
Stefanie is a Staff Attorney with the Community Legal Aid Society, Inc’s Disabilities Law Program (“DLP”), which serves as the protection and advocacy system for the State of Delaware. In her role, she advocates for individuals with disabilities whose rights are and have been violated.
At Penn Carey Law, Stefanie served as an editor on the Journal of Law and Social Change and was a member of the Latinx American Law Student’s Association (“LALSA”). She also volunteered with the School Discipline Advocacy Service and the Youth Advocacy Project. During her 1L summer, Stefanie interned at Bizchut in Jerusalem, Israel, where she researched inclusive education, which was used to develop Bizchut’s policy position on the same. During her 2L summer, she was a law clerk in CLASI’s DLP, where she worked on issues around social security and equal access to services for those with physical and mental health impairments. Before coming to law school, Stefanie taught fourth grade in San Antonio, Texas.
Stefanie graduated from Penn Carey Law as a dual degree student with the Graduate School of Education with her JD and MSEd Education Policy. Prior to attending Penn, she graduated summa cum laude from the St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX.
