Research Fellow

Amanda Bergold is a social psychologist studying the application of psychological principles to the legal system. Her research focuses on jury and juror decision-making, the mechanisms underlying eyewitness misidentifications, and the role that different types of bias play in legal decisions. She received funding for her dissertation work from the National Science Foundation. She graduated from Williams College in 2009, and will receive a PhD in Psychology in the fall of 2016 from John Jay College and the Graduate Center CUNY.
