What I Did Before Law School:
Before entering Law School at the Leibniz University of Hannover (Germany) I did one year of civil service at the German Red Cross.
Why I Chose Penn Law:
Having offers from different law schools, I chose Penn Law because of its emphasis on the field of business law.
Professor Who Influenced Me Most:
I really like the way Professor Michael Wachter is teaching Corporations. Having already taught classes myself I was surprised by the Socratic Method and its effectiveness.
My Favorite Course:
So far my favorite class is “Corporations” with Professor Wachter. I like the way he focuses on the daily operations of corporations and the process of decision making.
My Favorite Philadelphia Moment:
My everyday run along the Schuylkill River by the boat houses.
What I’m Most Proud Of:
To be part of Penn Law’s LL.M. Class of 2010, meeting lots of people from different countries and legal backgrounds and make some great friends.
My Extracurricular Activities at Penn Law:
Playing soccer, watching baseball and hockey, and my visits to the Kimmel Center.
My Favorite Place or Activity on the University Campus:
Law School and its Courtyard, Locust Walk and Houston Hall.
