Daniela Beinisch

Hometown:

Jerusalem, Israel

Class Year:

LLM, 2007

Prior Education:

LL..B. & LL.M., Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Law School

What I Did Before Law School:

I worked as an attorney at the Criminal Law Dept of the Israeli State Attorney’s Office.

Why I Chose Penn Law:

I liked the combination between the friendly atmosphere and the high quality of the curriculum.

My Best Experience at Penn Law:

Meeting many interesting and diverse LL.M. students and Penn Law faculty.

My Favorite Course:

I enjoyed all my classes at Penn Law. Since the program is so flexible and we get to choose all our classes, I took only classes that I found very interesting. If I had to choose I would say that the best ones were “Human Rights & National security” and “Law & Morality”. These two classes were very different but both of them were very mind opening and encouraging broad thinking.

My Favorite Philadelphia Moment:

Reading material in my favorite café in Center City.

My Extracurricular Activities at Penn Law:

I took part in many LL.M. social events as well as in many Law School lectures and events outside of the formal program.

My Favorite Place or Activity on the University Campus:

My favorite place in Campus is Locust Walk which is so beautiful in every season of the year.
