Why a JD/MBA? Even prior to joining McKinsey, I knew that I wanted to go to law school; I had taken multiple classes at Cornell Law School during undergrad and also interned at a law firm. However, my time at McKinsey helped me appreciate the importance of being able to understand the business perspective and think in an interdisciplinary manner. The Carey JD/MBA is the most integrated program of its kind and creates a really tight-knit community. I was excited about the smaller cohort and felt that this was the best environment for me to learn.
