Why a JD/MBA? After the first semester of law school, I recognized that simply knowing the law is the bare minimum, and the key to success as a lawyer requires you to be an expert on all facets of your clients’ businesses. Consequently, I pursued a JD/MBA because I was confident that it would uniquely position me to better understand my clients’ business drivers and issues in this uncertain and quickly changing world. I can leverage the networks, customized curriculum, and resources from all three communities (JD, MBA, and JD/MBA) to quickly develop an understanding of my clients’ industries and the unique challenges that they face.
