
Sheila Orfano L’24
Sheila Marie Orfano is a 3L from Los Angeles, CA. She attended New York University, where she majored in Creative Writing and Religious Studies. After graduating in 2016, she worked at TED Conferences, where she managed special projects and events for TED’s executive leadership team. She was also significantly involved in TED’s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, serving on the organization’s inaugural Diversity Council and helping to shape its annual goals around hiring and retention of diverse employees. At Penn Carey Law, Sheila is a member of the Office of Equity and Inclusion’s Student Advisory Board. She is also a part of the Custody and Support Assistance Clinic pro bono project. She is interested in family law and juvenile defense, approaching child welfare and juvenile justice through a holistic lens.
