Daniel McKaveney LLM
Daniel McKaveney is an international student from Scotland. He graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2019 with a First-Class Honors degree in Law with Spanish, LLB (Bachelor of Law). After graduating, he completed internships at the Council of Europe and the Scottish Anti-Trafficking and Exploitation Centre. He then worked as a Legal Fellow at the London-based human rights organization JUSTICE, before joining DLA Piper LLP as a legal assistant in the UK Pro Bono team. During his time at Penn Carey Law, Daniel has continued to pursue his interest in human rights law and is completing the Global Security, Sustainability and Human Rights Concentration. He has also contributed to work for the International Human Rights Advocates pro bono project. Additionally, Daniel has an interest in refugee and asylum law and the issues affecting displaced people.
