Zhixing Liu LLM
Zhixing Prex Liu is an LL.M. candidate at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in law at China University of Political Sciences and Law in 2021 and has passed the 2020 National Legal Professional Examination of China. He has served as an intern at the Supreme People’s Court of China. At Penn Law, Zhixing is an associate editor at the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Law & Social Change (Vol. 25) and a research assistant to Prof. Yanbai Andrea Wang. Zhixing’s research interests lie primarily in socio-legal studies, focusing on empirically studying the Chinese court system and judicial reform, while how these reforms could contribute to achieving social justice in China. His previous publications examined the implementation of China’s People’s jury system.
