Madeline Bruning L’24
Madeline Bruning grew up in Athens, GA. Before law school, she earned a BS in Public Policy and a minor in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Working as a Teaching Assistant and writing tutor, she developed an interest in academia. Her internship at the District Attorney’s office provided a firsthand glimpse into the racial and economic disparities embedded in the criminal legal system, which motivated her to go to law school. She now aims to become a public interest lawyer in the criminal defense sphere and eventually pursue a career in academia and teaching.
