Amanda Haverstick is a 25-year BigLaw veteran who pivoted during the pandemic to coaching law school students and training lawyers in legal writing. As a labor & employment lawyer and litigator, Amanda honed her skills at Morgan Lewis (Philadelphia) and Proskauer Rose (NYC). She also served 2-3 years as in-house counsel at The Hershey Company.
Amanda has extensive experience reviewing writing samples and conducting interviews for law firm associate positions. Her experience derives from her current work as well as her decades of experience reviewing applicants and making hiring recommendations as a law firm attorney, including by serving as OCI interviewer for Proskauer at Penn.
Amanda earned her BA, cum laude, from Harvard University in 1991, where she majored in East Asian Studies and spent junior year abroad in Japan and Switzerland. At Boston College Law School (JD, summa cum laude, 1996), Amanda earned Order of the Coif, graded on to BC Law Review, was elected Executive Editor, and published a student Note.
