Iliana Odette Harris

Iliana Odette Harris is the Assistant Director for Community and Engagement in the Office of Equity and Inclusion. Iliana plans and manages various events for students and employees, leads the Sadie T.M. Alexander Scholars program, handles office communications, and supports any other office needs. Iliana genuinely enjoys collaborating with her E&I team members on supporting the law students, engaging with Penn Carey alumni, and implementing diverse and inclusive programming for the Penn community and beyond.

Iliana is a Philadelphia native. She graduated from the University of Virginia where she studied Sociology, Spanish, and Africana studies. She has worked diligently in the nonprofit sector for 5 years prior to joining the Office of Equity and Inclusion. She is a lifelong volunteer and activist - as civic engagement and social justice are her driving forces. If Iliana is not in T-137, you may find her trying a new recipe in the kitchen, traveling the world, cuddling her puppy, or spending time with her loved ones.
