Hannah Sachs L’23
Hannah is pursuing a dual law and public policy degree to study how laws, policies, and governance frameworks contribute to an equitable and environmentally sustainable society. At Penn, she serves as the co-lead of the Democracy Law Project’s Community Organizing Project, volunteers with the Walk-in Legal Assistance Pro Bono Project, and is an associate editor on the Journal of Law and Social Change.
Hannah previously worked as the assistant to Dr. Jane Sanders on Senator Sanders’ 2020 Presidential Campaign and was a fellow at Dejusticia (Center for Law, Justice, and Society) in Bogotá, Colombia on national climate litigation and international human rights work. During her 1L Summer, Hannah supported the co-counsel of the Senate Budget Committee during the passage of the bipartisan infrastructure bill and 2022 budget resolution. Hannah is a graduate of Yale College and studied U.S. 20th century foreign policy.
