Ellen C. Reece

Ellen Reece is the Head of Metadata & Systems for Biddle Law Library. She earned her MLIS from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. While there, she interned for Columbia Library’s Rare Book and Manuscript Library as an archival processor. After Pratt, Ellen went on to work for Cumberland County College (Now a part of Rowan College of South Jersey) in Southern New Jersey. She was the head of technical services, but also provided reference and instruction. During her time at Biddle, Ellen has implemented several new systems and technologies—including the library’s catalog, Search Center. In her free time, Ellen enjoys reading, collecting mid-century cookbooks, and watching television and films. She lives with her partner and two cats, Hector and Mando.
