Vice Dean for Administrative Services

Jo-Ann graduated from Penn Law in 1983 and, following stops in a clerkship with the Honorable Anita B. Brody in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and as an appellate ADA in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, returned to Penn Law as an administrator.  In 1990, Jo-Ann joined the Development & Alumni Relations team as Director of Alumni Affairs, running alumni programming and editing the Penn Law Alumni Journal.  In 1993, she moved to Career Planning and Placement and was named Assistant Dean of that office later that year.  As Assistant Dean and later Associate Dean of Career Planning, Jo-Ann administered a host of on- and off-campus recruiting programs, developed collaborative relationships with employers world-wide, and supported thousands of Penn Law students and graduates as they maximized their career opportunities.

Since 2001, Jo-Ann has served as Vice Dean for Administrative Services. In that role, she serves as the chief administrative strategist at Penn Law, overseeing Penn Law’s excellent staff to ensure that faculty and students are supported in ways that enhance their intellectual and scholarly pursuits.
