What I Did Before Law School:
I worked in the corporate and commercial law division of a law firm.
Why I Chose Penn Law:
Primarily because of Penn Law’s cross-disciplinary approach to the study of law, its first-rate faculty, as well the diversity of the students.
My Best Experience at Penn Law:
The opportunity to interface with people of diverse backgrounds on a daily basis is phenomenal and, hopefully, my graduation in May 2011.
Professor Who Influenced Me Most:
The entire faculty inspires me with their qualifications and achievement in there respective areas of practice.
My Favorite Course:
I enjoyed in particular Corporations and Cross Border M&A because of the global applicability of the teaching of these courses. I am also certain I am going to enjoy the Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic in the spring because it provides an opportunity to put into practice all the theoretical knowledge of corporate and commercial law.
My Favorite Philadelphia Moment:
When Penn Quakers beat Harvard to win the Ivy League Football title. Also when Michelle Obama visited U Penn.
What I’m Most Proud Of:
I am proud to be part of a particularly dynamic class in a law school that promotes students attaining the greatest level of achievement in diverse areas of law. Similarly about being able to integrate business with my knowledge of law by taking the Certificate in Business and Law at the prestigious Wharton Business School.
My Extracurricular Activities at Penn Law:
I participated in as many of the activities at the Law School and at Wharton business school as I could.
My Favorite Place or Activity on the University Campus:
Locust Walk on the Penn campus, I am never tired of reading the inscriptions as I walk through.
Why choose Penn Law over other law schools?
Its cross-disciplinary approach allows you to incorporate other disciplines into the study of law, making you more marketable in an increasingly competitive field.
