Alexandra Jerez is the Public Interest and Pro Bono Coordinator at Penn Carey Law’s Toll Public Interest Center (TPIC). While bringing her passion for advocacy and community service to the forefront, she supports all of TPIC’s programming in an administrative capacity.

Alexandra is a graduate of Drexel University where she charted her own academic path in interdisciplinary study, creating a major within the Pennoni Honors College entitled Public Relations, Crisis, and Brand Management in Fashion and Sports Media all while maintaining a Pre-Law Track.

During her impressive five-year undergraduate career, Alexandra served as the student manager for the Drexel Men’s basketball program, eventually assuming the role of head manager for three years. Her commitment to sports intersected with her academic pursuits as she researched the dynamic relationship between fashion, sports, and social justice. These pursuits culminated in an online publication entitled Haute Division. Before joining TPIC, Alexandra served as the Executive Administrator for the Drexel Athletics Department, honing her organizational and administrative skills. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Center for Black Culture at Drexel University.

Originally from Perth Amboy, NJ, Alexandra has called Philadelphia home for the past seven years. Her first language is Spanish and in her free time, Alexandra enjoys immersing herself in the Philadelphia food scene, traveling, and experiencing new art and culture.
