Mia Fry L’21
Originally from Haverford, Pennsylvania, Mia received her B.A. in English from Williams College. She worked in higher education for five years after college, first as a consultant and then in the Provost’s Office at Dartmouth College. Mia’s experience learning about the barriers to access and affordability in the U.S. education system motivated her to pursue law school where she hopes to learn how the legal system can be harnessed to fight systemic inequality.
At Penn Law, Mia is an associate editor for the Journal of Law and Public Affairs. She also serves as the pro bono and public interest co-chair for the Penn Law Women’s Association and the development and outreach co-editor for Penn’s Civil Rights Law Project. Mia spent her 1L summer as a legal intern at the ACLU of New Hampshire. Outside of law school, Mia enjoys cooking, running on the Schuylkill river trail, and spending time with family.
