Lindsay Grier L’22

Lindsay comes to Penn Craey Law with an interest in civil legal services, a background in housing, and a desire to help connect immigrant families with the resources they need in the U.S. She graduated summa cum laude from Davidson College with a major in Hispanic studies. While a student at Davidson, Lindsay spent time working in Ecuador, Kenya, and Costa Rica.

After graduating, Lindsay worked for Habitat for Humanity Global Programs team, where she promoted access to decent, affordable housing worldwide. Lindsay then worked for the Legal Aid Society of DC where she learned from her supervisors in the housing unit about promoting just policies for tenants in the District. She provided support for attorneys across the organization as well as wraparound services for clients on the brink of eviction. The clients and staff at Legal Aid instilled in Lindsay a commitment to ensuring that all people, regardless of their income level, have access to a dedicated, qualified attorney.

Lindsay is originally from Charlotte, NC. In her free time, you can find her reading up on personality tests, going on long runs, or indulging in episodes of The Office.
