Tara Harper O’Connor L’93

Tara Harper O’Connor has been a lawyer for the University of Pittsburgh since October 2017. Prior to working at the University, Tara was Associate General Counsel, and Director of Ethics at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee from 2014 to 2017; Corporate Counsel Employment, Labor and Immigration at the Kellogg Company from 2006 to 2014, Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Goldman Sachs & Co. from 2000 to 2006; Attorney Manager for Standard & Poor’s from1998 to 2000; Attorney Consultant for American Express Company, from 1997 to 1998 ; Attorney for IBM Corporation from 1995 to 1997 and a Law Clerk to the Honorable Gary L. Lancaster W.D.PA from 1993 to 1995. Tara lives with her husband Stephen and their two spoiled Bichon Frise dogs in Pittsburgh.
