Taryn is the Graduate Assistant in the Office of Inclusion and Engagement, and is a student in the Higher Education, MSEd Program at Penn GSE. Passionate about social justice with a focus on LGBTQ+ advocacy, Taryn hopes to pursue a career in student affairs that will allow her to make college campuses more equitable for students with marginalized identities. She has previously held internships with nonprofit organizations and a fellowship with the Mayor’s Office of LGBT Affairs in Philadelphia, and currently volunteers at her church as an assistant director of youth musical productions. Her interests outside of work include drag, video games, fashion, and behavioral ecology.
