Meghan Downey

Meghan Downey is a rising 2L who grew up in New Jersey and attended undergrad at the College of William & Mary, where she graduated with a BA in religious studies and history, and where she was a passion advocate for sexual violence prevention and survivor support. After working in violence prevention research and policy analysis in New York, she came to Philly to pursue her calling: bundling up in eight different layers to attend classes in the freezing cold, hallowed halls of Penn Law. At Penn, she volunteers with the Pardon Project, dukes it out at Boxing Club, and helps operate the School Store. She will spend her 1L summer at the Death Penalty Information Center in Washington, DC.
