Jim is a rising 2L from Atlanta. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2015 with degrees in psychology and public relations and a minor in political science. While in undergrad, Jim studied abroad in Greece and China and served as Study Body Vice President. After college, he moved to Washington, D.C., and completed a yearlong fellowship with the American Constitution Society before working as a legal assistant at a Jenner & Block LLP. At Penn, Jim is involved with Lambda Law—for which he currently serves as the Mentorship Director—and the Civil Rights Law Project. This summer, he will intern at Lambda Legal in New York City. During his free time, Jim enjoys (re)watching Beyoncé’s Coachella performances, discussing the enduring cultural significance of Brokeback Mountain and Cristina Yang, and eating brown sugar doughnuts from Federal Doughnuts.
