Germaine Grant is a 2L who grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He has a Bachelors in Business Administration from Oakwood University, an HBCU in Huntsville, AL. After four-years of trying to understand business, Germaine realized that his passion lied elsewhere. Before solidifying his passion in the law, Germaine spent two years being an English teacher in South Korea where he discovered his joy of living abroad and experiencing other cultures. This journey led Germaine to combine his love for law with his love for travelling and pursue a legal degree to practice law internationally. At Penn Law, Germaine is the 2L Class Representative and also the Law School Representative for the Graduate And Professional Student Assembly. He also serves as the social chair for Black Law Student Association. This summer, he will be working for two law firms, Nishimura & Asahi in Tokyo and Bermeo & Bermeo in Ecuador. Germaine is an avid napper, Youtube - watcher, and full-time brunch-goer. Germaine organizes pick-up basketball and is always interested in having a good time.
