Amanda Jonas is from Buffalo N.Y. where she received her B.A. in English from the University of Buffalo. Following undergrad she got a Masters of Education from George Mason University. Prior to law school, Amanda was a teacher in the Teach for America Program. She taught 5th grade in Washington, D.C., as well as 8th grade in Philadelphia. Amanda was a summer associate at Blank Rome in Philadelphia in 2018 and is returning this summer. She just finished sitting third chair in a federal criminal trial, United States v. Rohana which involved the alleged theft of a thumb from a terracotta warrior. In her current role as Director of the Penn Law Bookstore, Amanda is in charge of designing all of Penn Law’s swag.
