Students traveling to New York frequently ask if they are able to stay at a hotel overnight rather than returning to Philadelphia if they have another interview the following day in New York.  Use your judgment when you ask the recruiter if it is acceptable to stay in a hotel rather than traveling back and forth for same-city interviews.  As a general rule, firms are willing to host a student for the night in a hotel if they have interviews on consecutive days.  There tends to be more flexibility the further you have to travel.
