Yung-Cheng Lin

Yung-Cheng Lin joined the Penn Carey Law S.J.D. program in 2023, following the completion of his LLM degree at the same institution. Under the guidance of Professor Baker, Yung-Cheng’s research concentrates on insurance regulation. Specifically, he is examining the effects of various regulatory methods on the efficiency of insurance oversight. His studies further encompass related fields such as insurance contract law, financial regulations, and comparative law. Prior to joining Penn, Yung-Cheng garnered years of legal experience in Taiwan. He served as an associate attorney at PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal Taiwan, focusing on financial legal services, and as an assistant researcher at Taiwan’s financial regulatory agency, overseeing the compulsory automobile insurance system.
