Brandon Narramore L’25
Brandon Narramore is from the Rogue Valley in beautiful Southern Oregon. He attended Portland State where he was active in student groups dedicated to community service and in 2016 received his B.A in Political Science and Masters in Public Policy in 2018. Afterward, Brandon worked as a policy analyst for Oregon’s state housing department as well as served as a property manager for a Section-8 highrise in downtown Portland.
Frustrated by the inability of those with previous criminal histories to receive housing assistance as well as his own family’s experience with the criminal justice system, Brandon decided to pivot his career and enter law school with aspirations to become a public defender. This Summer he interned with Delaware’s Office of Defense Services and assisted attorneys with drafting motions, researching legal questions, and working on expungement petitions.
At Penn Carey Law, Brandon is active with the Compassionate Release Collaborative Pro Bono, drafting petitions for terminally ill
inmates to be transferred to hospice care. In his free time, Brandon enjoys watching B-horror movies at the Philadelphia Psychotronic Society, rooting for the Eagles and the Utah Jazz, and spending time with his wife and newborn son.
