William McNichol

William McNichol brings to the classroom his experience as a leading member of the Intellectual Property bar for 40 years. He has represented clients in patent, trademark, trade secret, and copyright cases in trial courts nationwide, and in the court of appeals. In addition to his work representing clients, Mr. McNichol has been a member of the Adjunct Faculty at Rutgers Law School since 1999. He has written and lectured throughout Europe, South America, Asia, and the United States on the acquisition and enforcement of intellectual property rights.

Mr. McNichol is a member of the bars of New Yok, Washington, the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, and the Canadian Intellectual Property Office. He has been listed as one of the Best Lawyers in America 2006 – 2015, and one of Chambers Leading Lawyers for Business USA 1996 – 2014.

Mr. McNichol also teaches courses on marijuana regulation. He has written on various aspects of intellectual property protection cannabis businesses and for marijuana-based products, as well as evidentiary issues relating to technical expert testimony in marijuana-based legal proceedings.

Mr. McNichol represented clients in a number of prominent cases.
