Xin (Sherry) Chen

Associate Director for Collection Strategy

Xin (Sherry) Chen is the Associate Director for Collection Strategy at the Biddle Law Library. In this role, she is responsible for the development, maintenance, and stewardship of the Law Library’s collection in all jurisdictions and formats. She coordinates with other departments of the Law Library to conduct collection evaluation and analysis on a continuing basis, and to plan and manage collection-related projects throughout the Law Library.

Prior to joining the Biddle Law Library in January 2023, she had served as the Legal Information Librarian & Lecturer in Law at the Boston College Law Library for ten years. She received both her J.D. and M.S.L.I.S. from the University of Michigan, a M.S. in Risk Management & Insurance from Georgia State University, and a B.A. in English Literature from Shanghai International Studies University in China. She is a member (inactive) of the State Bar of New York.
