Angela Simone White

Angela Simone White was born and raised in the Philadelphia region. She earned her B.A. from The George Washington University, where she studied History and Political Science and graduated with honors. Prior to joining the Penn Carey Law community, Angela spent two years working as a paralegal in Washington D.C., where she assisted in maximizing recoveries for health systems and healthcare providers. Her time as a paralegal informed her of the power and complexity of the law and motivated her to pursue a career as an attorney.

Angela spent her 1L summer working both as a legal intern with the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Theodore A. McKee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She worked on a wide variety of cases ranging from Title VII to Fourth Amendment issues. She will be spending her 2L summer in New York at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

Angela intends to devote her legal career to upholding principles of justice, fairness, and equality. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve as an inaugural Equity & Inclusion Fellow and hopes to gain the tools necessary to counteract bias and advance opportunities for access in the legal profession.

Outside of law school, Angela enjoys daily bike rides, listening to ’70s music, and collecting vintage clothing. She is also a devoted cat mom to Gigi, her Russian Blue.
