Hailey Lee
Hailey was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, and studied Business, concentrating in Global Business Management and Business Analytics, at Babson College in Wellesley, MA. After college, she worked as a Legal Assistant at DLA Piper’s Boston office, and then she also worked at a public interest law firm that helps veterans claim their disability benefits.
Hailey came into Penn Law with interests in immigration law and corporate law. Upon graduating law school, she hopes to continue her aspirations to be a corporate lawyer at a law firm in New York City, as well as working on various pro bono projects while at the firm. At Penn Law, Hailey strives to stay involved in the school community by serving as a Mental Health & Wellness Chair at APALSA and as an Equity & Inclusion Fellow. She has always been dedicated to promoting global mindfulness within the campus and understanding different cultures, as she also served as an Education Abroad Peer Advisor during college. Hailey is very excited to continue such efforts at the law school through the positions she holds.
Outside of law school, Hailey enjoys travel photography, especially capturing the ambiance of restaurants or streets in different cities, cooking Italian food, and golf. Music is another hugely important passion of hers – she is not only a cellist, having played in the orchestra for the last 12 years, but also very much enjoys listening to R&B, bossa nova, and jazz. During the weekends, she likes to go to classical concerts, art performances, or museums.
