Lori Robertson

Lori Robertson, an accomplished journalist, has served for the last ten years as the Managing Editor of FactCheck.org, a nonpartisan website that fact-checks political claims and increases public understanding of political messages. Her work touches a wide range of legal topics, including health care, immigration, gun control, taxes, federal regulation and the Constitution. Since 2008, Lori has been the lead writer on health care coverage, an area that she hopes to delve more deeply during her time in the ML program. Lori is often recognized for her work, receiving many journalism awards including the FactCheck.org Sigma Delta Chi Award for health care coverage in 2010, the FactCheck.org Webby award for best politics site in 2008, 2010-2012, and 2014-2018, and the 2003 Bart Richards Award for Media Criticism.
