Sherrod Smith L’22
Sherrod Smith serves as a Deputy Attorney General for the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office of Public Integrity and Accountability. In this role, he focuses on cases involving public corruption, criminal violations of civil rights laws, and illegal use of force by law enforcement officers. Earlier in his career, Sherrod served as a project coordinator for the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law where he focused on bias-motivated crimes and as a White House Liaison for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security during the Obama administration.
Sherrod graduated with a BA from Boston University, an MPA from the Princeton University School of Public and International Affairs, and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
