Alejandro Medina-Mora is the Deputy Legal Director of Mexico’s National Water Commission. Prior to his current role, Medina-Mora spent several years in the private sector as a trial lawyer for several prestigious offices. He has served in the Supreme Court as Advisor to (then Minister) President Guillermo Iberio Ortiz Mayagoitia, and later held various positions under the leadership of Minister Fernando Franco González Salas. He subsequently served as the Director of the Analysis Unit of the Office of the President of the Republic.
Medina-Mora holds an LLB from for the Universidad Iberoamericana, where he has also taught several courses in constitutional law. He received his LLM from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, with a Certificate from the Wharton School of Business.
