Jamie Reisman

Director of Public Interest Career Strategy & Counseling

Before joining OCS, Jamie Reisman was a civil legal services attorney for over 10 years at Legal Aid Chicago where she practiced in a variety of areas including family law, housing, public benefits, employment, and, most recently, consumer law. 

She directed cases through every stage of litigation, from the initial pleadings, through extensive discovery, all the way to trial. Her work preserved clients’ subsidized housing, restored heat service during the Chicago winter, saved homes for clients facing foreclosure, and resulted in other favorable litigation outcomes. 

She received her JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her BA from Swarthmore College.
