In order to get where you want to go in your career journey, it’s important to know where you are. Self-assessment is a key step in the career planning process. That’s why Penn offers the Tools for Career Assessment and Development seminar. If you’re considering a major career change, exploring job listings, or you simply want to see where you stand, this course will give you the tools to plan your next move.

The free Tools for Career Assessment and Development class takes place on February 12, 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m., at Learning & Education, 3624 Market Street, Suite 1A South.

Tools for Career Assessment and Development introduces you to methods for taking stock of your interests, skills and values. You’ll also learn how to research different fields that match your talents and connect with the right people to help you find new opportunities. You’ll receive resume revision tips and explore the importance of storytelling in career development. At the end of the class, you’ll be ready to create a career action plan to guide you on your journey to future success.
