While at Penn Law, Amanda has focused her studies on the legal issues surrounding blockchain and digital currencies—culminating in a white paper (“Crypto Custody”) about the implications for digital currencies under federal securities laws advised by past JLI Faculty Advisor, Professor David Hoffman. Amanda spent her 2L summer at Weil, Gotshal & Manges in New York, NY and will return to Weil in 2021 as an associate in the M&A group. After graduation, Amanda will begin a clerkship with Chief Justice Collins J. Seitz of the Delaware Supreme Court.

Originally from Lewiston, Idaho, Amanda received her B.A. from Yale University where she majored in Political Science. Prior to law school, Amanda worked as a product manager at AOL specializing in the development of digital advertisements for Fortune 500 advertisers.
