Challenging Negative Attitudes workshop

September 09, 2019

The old adage “one bad apple spoils the whole bunch” might be true for fruit, but one negative person in the workplace doesn’t have to create an unhealthy and unproductive environment for you and your colleagues.

There are proven ways to overcome a negative atmosphere and turn undesirable attitudes into positive behaviors that benefit the entire organization. To learn how to shift pessimistic perspectives, attend the Challenging Negative Attitudes workshop on October 1, 12:30 pm-1:30 pm, at 3624 Market Street, Suite 1A South.

At this free workshop participants will realize their power to face stressful situations. You will learn how to manage negative circumstances, deal with negative people more effectively, break free from your own pessimism, and use coping tools for dealing with change.

Attendees will also engage in activities that will challenge their negative assumptions and encourage optimistic thinking to produce positive outcomes.

Carla Thomas, Senior Training and Development Consultant, says staff can overcome negative behaviors in the workplace by having the right mindset and tools.

“When we encounter different challenges in the workplace, the most important aspect to consider is how you interpret the situation and approach solutions. This workshop can help you to begin expanding your efforts to problem-solve in a variety of circumstances,” Thomas says.

Register today for the Challenging Negative Attitudes workshop and learn how to turn negativity into positive work experiences.
