June 04, 2018

Dear Career Services Office:

We are pleased to invite your students to participate in the 2018 St. Louis Diversity Job Fair (“SLDJF”) which is open to J.D. students in the classes of 2019 and 2020.

The Job Fair will kick-off with small group student attorney networking reception on Friday, August 3 beginning at 5:30 p.m. (location to be announced) and interviews will be held Saturday, August 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Saint Louis University School of Law, 100 N Tucker Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63101. Specific details re both events will be posted on the St. Louis Diversity Job Fair web site at www.stldiversityjobfair.com and through Simplicity as they become available.

The deadline for law student registration is Monday, June 18, 2018 at midnight (CST); absolutely no extensions will be allowed. All students must be registered by this date in order to participate in the Job Fair. Law students can register for the 2018 St. Louis Diversity Job Fair by going to https://law-sldjf-csm.symplicity.com/. When registering, we require that students provide the name of a contact in the school’s Career Services office that will be available to assist with coordinating the student participation in the Job Fair. Please let your students know who the law school representative will be and their contact information so they may properly complete registration.

Documentation needed to register for the Job Fair:

  1. Law student resume
  2. Law school transcript (unofficial is ok)
  3. One page cover letter
  4. Writing sample (may submit an abbreviated version, less than 10 pages preferred)

Please also inform students that it may take up to one business day to get their initial registration approved. They should not submit a second registration and/or contact the Career Services Office for assistance if they have not allowed the Job Fair administrator enough time to review the initial registration materials. The same request for patience applies for resume and additional documents approval.

The St. Louis Diversity Job Fair offers full or partial financial stipends to students who would be unable to attend the Job Fair without the financial assistance. The number and amount of stipends awarded is contingent on requests received and funds available. Please instruct students who need financial assistance to contact Danielle Carr at daniellecarr@polsinelli.com. The deadline for submitting the financial stipend application is Friday, June 29, 2018 at midnight (CST).

Thank you in advance for distributing this information to your students.

Best regards,

  1. Danielle Carr
