#274 STOP.THINK.CONNECT: Data Privacy Day

January 27, 2017

January 28 is Data Privacy Day and kicks off Data Privacy Month (Jan 28. - Feb. 28.)

Data Privacy Day is a key component of the National Cyber Security Alliance’s (NCSA) campaign, STOP. THINK.CONNECT. The campaign’s objective is to encourage and increase the practice of cyberawareness, globally. Being cyberaware means not only that our devices themselves are secure and up to date, but that we are mindful of risks and threats inherent to our digital lifestyles.

Starting today and through the month of February we’ll be sharing tips, tools & techniques to help Penn Law community members protect your privacy and control your digital footprint.

A good starting pointing is the STOP.THINK.CONNECT campaign’s General Tips and Advice page. It provides an overview of the topics we’ll cover over the next month.
