# 273 Cyber Security To-Do
September 28, 2016
Get involved with National Cyber Security Awareness Month by making these quick cyber security improvements:
- Clean up your passwords. Sign up for a Premium LastPass account through the University of Pennsylvania (https://www.law.upenn.edu/its/docs/lastpass/) to help you keep track of your passwords and follow the One Password = One Account rule.
- Install virus, spyware, and adware protection on your personal devices. University of Pennsylvania recommends using Symantec Endpoint Protection (https://www.isc.upenn.edu/how-to/symantec-endpoint-protection). Note that devices provided Penn Law already have this kind of protection installed.
- Sign up for PennKey Two-Step Authentication (https://twostep.apps.upenn.edu/twoFactor/) to protect your accounts at the University of Pennsylvania.
- Check to see if you’ve been exposed by a security breach by signing up your email for alerts at Have I Been Pwned? (https://haveibeenpwned.com/). Be sure to reset your password on all compromised accounts.
Email itshelp@law.upenn.edu if you have any questions or concerns about the security tools mentioned above!
