Alert for Penn Law community members impacted by Center City fire

Any Penn Law faculty, students, and staff who have been impacted by the fire and evacuation should feel free to contact the administration with any issues they are experiencing.

To members of the Penn Law community:

As you are likely aware a 4-alarm fire broke out in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Sq. tonight, January 19, and residents in the area affected have been evacuated. Any Penn Law faculty, students, and staff who have been impacted by the fire and evacuation should feel free to contact the administration with any issues they are experiencing.

Students may contact Dimitri Islam at mdislam@law.upenn.edu, and faculty and staff may contact Jo-Ann Verrier at jverrier@law.upenn.edu.

Penn’s Department of Public Safety is working with the Vice Provost for University Life to support any students affected, including with relocation support if necessary. Students may call 215-573-3333 for more information.
