Employment with Impact: Transitioning to a Career in Government & Public Policy

As part of the Penn Law Government Service Initiative, the Law School hosted an expert panel addressing the ways in which graduates and students may pursue rewarding and fulfilling careers in government and public policy at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, D.C. on June 4, 2014. 

Speakers included Laura Conn L’08, Attorney Advisor, U.S. Department of State; Heath Tarbert L’01, Partner, Allen & Overy LLP; Johanna Thomas L’07, Attorney, Federal Communications Commission; and Carlos Uriarte L’05, Senior Counsel, U.S. Department of the Interior.  The panel was moderated by F. Scott Kieff L’94, Commissioner, U.S. International Trade Commission.
