#237 Time Travel With Google Maps

June 09, 2014

Take a trip down memory lane with Google Maps–a new feature allows you to view past images for certain locations.

You can access this feature by using Street View in Google Maps.  Not sure how to use Street View in Google Maps?  Please see this Google Support Guide.

Once you are in Street View, here is how to use this new feature:

  1. Click on the Clock Icon located in the black box in the top left corner.
  2. Adjust the slider to view previous pictures in that location.
  3. After adjusting the slider to the time you wish to view, click on the image to expand it to the full window.
    • NOTE: This feature may not be available for every location in Street View.
